Configuring alarm steps

  1. Show a map and allow a change of location (Recommended)

    • This setting enables the sender to confirm or modify their location before sending the alarm.
    • If disabled, the sender's location is automatically detected without the option to change it.
    • We recommend keeping this enabled to ensure accurate location reporting.

  2. Allow users to add customized alarm details to the alarm

    • Activating this option adds a step in the alarm process, allowing the sender to provide situational details to recipients when the alarm is sent.

  3. Show warning if the alarm should really be sent out (Recommended)

    • This adds a final step in the alarm process, requiring the sender to confirm before sending the alarm.

  4. Block notifications

    • Enabling this setting suppresses other alarm and message notifications once this specific alarm is active.
    • Cosafe will not send additional notifications; users will receive data updates on their devices during the active alarm.
    • To view new messages, users should monitor the message thread within the app.
    • Note: This feature is available in app version 3.2 and later.
